Determining illness according to at-Tayyibin

In determining illness in the human body according to at-Thayyibin, "cause and reason" for all sickness and fevercan be found. Some are caused by "undue blood", some result from "undue wind" and some are due do fats. Therefore , in order to cure sickness , one has to determine its origin. If illness occurs during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th month (of the Muslim calendar), disease or illness would be due to mucus/phlegm. If it occurs during the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th month of the year (according to the Muslim/lunar calendar), the cause of illness would be connected to blood. If it occurs during the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12 month of the year (Muslim calendar), then  the cause of illness would be " wind " . Illness is due to phlegm if it occurs during the morning and to blood if it occurs at noon  illness occurring in the afternoon is due to both wind and blood. Finally, illness occurring shortly before sunset is caused by phlegm and wind.
