Arab magic is, in its essence, so-called astral magic, because it is largely based on astrology, the movement of the planets, and the influence of the heavens on earthly events. For this very reason, when making talismans great attention is paid to lunar phases, astrological hours, as well as to addressing spirits, entities, and spiritual beings that are under the rule of a particular planet and the force it represents.
In the following, I will present several talismans. In the creation of each of them, one must follow the standard procedure regarding the most suitable time for writing it, the selection of the appropriate planetary incense, as well as the invocation (oath) of Mars, Jupiter, Venus, or whichever planet governs the content of the amulet itself.
