A CANDLE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN SUMMONS EVIL AND DEATH
Candles have evolved significantly from their primitive origins to their modern forms, yet their practical, religious, and magical functions remain intact. The introduction of colors has further enhanced their role in witchcraft. They are particularly popular in practices like voodoo, santeria, umbanda, and various other cults. The use of candles has also spread to the Balkans.
In Romanian culture, a candle that burns above the dead must be preserved and washed in water. According to local witches, this water can replace the water used to bathe the deceased. In a harmful ritual against an enemy, one lights an upside-down candle near a river and extinguishes it in the water while reciting:
"As this candle goes out, so does the happiness and life of this person."
For this purpose, the most potent candle has been stolen from the dead. In other examples of casting spells on enemies, three candles are bought and lit next to the icon. After that, you should kneel on the floor, bend down, and beat them with a rosary until the candles melt completely. This spell or curse is believed to fall on the enemy and his children, making them poor and unhappy.
In Romanian folklore, there is a form of sorcery intended to harm a rival or enemy. The process begins with obtaining a large candle, which should be lit upside down and left to burn in that position in a church on the first Sunday of the New Moon. As the candle burns, the wax drips onto the church floor, symbolizing the loss of luck for the person targeted by the spell. There is an alternative version of this magical practice. It involves collecting wax from the church floor to create a new candle. For the wick, one should use the threads that have fallen to the floor during weaving. This specially made candle is then lit in the church to harm the enemy.
People combat black magic in various ways, and one effective method involves using candles. For the ritual to remove evil spirits, you will need nine wax candles. When the bells ring in the church, light a candle placed above the threshold upside down, focusing intensely on the person who performed the harmful magic against you. As the candle burns, say the following:
"As this candle burns, let my enemy also burn; just as the wax drips from the wick, so let the flesh melt from his bones."
After this, you must pray. Once one candle is extinguished, light another and turn it upside down. Repeat this process until all nine candles have been used.
CANDLE AGAINST CANDLE
You can also undo a spell cast over a candle with another candle. This method not only helps remove the negative energy sent your way but also provides protection and energetic cleansing. To reverse the spell, take two black candles, light them, and recite this incantation:
"In the name of the gods and all spirits,
in the name of Cernunnos and light and darkness,
and the Gods of the Underworld
let the one who works witchcraft against me suffer their curse.
Let these candles represent their candles,
let this burning symbolize their burning,
let their witchcraft return to them.
May the pain they inflicted on me and my family now return to the witch and wizard.
For effective results, perform this ritual for five consecutive nights, ideally close to midnight. Afterward, dispose of any remains of wax and candles by throwing them over your left shoulder at a crossroads.
