Red magic

There are a lot of answers to the question of how did love or red magic came to be? One of the more interesting is known in Arabic occultism where this type of magic is connected with the mysterious Atlantis. Allegedly, 30 000 years ago, spiritual beings walked the earth which founded ancient Atlantis. That continent was made up of seven islands, and since earth was at the time still hot, geometrically it resembled a red rose and that's why this flower became its trademark. Each island had its own city, while the capital city of all islands was Atlantis. There was a huge temple inside of it, darkest of them all, called the black temple of Atlantis. But, it had nothing to do with black magic, instead red magic was exclusively practiced. In its time, Atlantis had an extremely advanced civilization and science and religion did not exist in the form that is familiar to us today, instead it was based on practice of rituals of red magic which was used by all its inhabitants. Because of that sin, according to the legend, Allah punished them by destroying Atlantis which sunk into the sea and since then it was never again seen. But, other versions of this legend explain how it came to the conflict between the Atlanteans themselves and how amidst such events it came to the cataclysm. However it may be, spiritual beings which lived on that mysterious continent did not disappear, rather they stayed living in their supernatural world which intertwines with the human world. It is assumed that they live in the Bermuda triangle. Throughout numerous legends of the ancient world but also religious legends of monotheism numerous cases were described when the spiritual beings from Atlantis (gods, angels, demons, faeries.) communicated with humans and transferred their knowledge onto them, among other things rituals of red magic.

Today when we read Arabic grimoire dedicated to love magic, we can truly conclude that a red rose is the original symbol of red magic. In most descriptions it is insisted on the usage of rose water for the preparation of spells with the remark that without it the magic won't have any effect. A similar congruence is found in Bosnian magic which is best illustrated by the description of this spell: In order for a woman to win over a man she must take a red rose and drink it with a glass of water in order to obtain rose water. She would add three drops on menstrual blood in the water and a drop of blood from the thumb of the right and left hand and blood from the toe of the right and left foot according to the system right hand, left leg and vice versa. When the love potion is ready it is served by a few drops in the coffee or juice. The most ideal time for the production of the potion is a night of a full moon or the first Friday after the appearance of the new moon.

I must immediately mention to all of you that by practicing rituals described in this book you will not become the most desirable person in the town or that you will have however you wish. Such a thing is an impossible mission and exceeds all spheres of normal thinking. One of the first rules of Bosnian love magic is that, with magic you can only influence a person that at least has a crush on you or a person that finds you physically attractive. Meaning, that person has to have a positive opinion about you. You cannot influence a person that doesn't know you or that finds you repulsive. That's why as the author of the book I'm recommending to you to use magic only when you are in a relationship or married. No matter how stable the relationship currently is and full of enthusiasm, just remember that even a fire stops burning if you don't add new wood. That's why love magic should be a stimulant that should strengthen the chains of love which bound you and should elongate bodily sensations and emotional enthusiasm.

Similarly you must know that love spells, no matter the strength and intensity, cannot destroy true love of a couple because when emotions are true and love is deep then it is stronger than any magic. Avoid getting caught up into others love relations because such acts cause a karmic punishment. Use rather love divination and look if the partners are harmonious, do they get along and what is their future like. If trough divination you see that their common future is not bright, arm yourselves with patience and wait for the person you desire to become available. In the meantime there is a possibility that you will cool off from such a desire and that you will connect with a new person or that you will give yourself time to get to know the other person better and build for starters a stable friendly relationship. In either case you will act wisely and correctly.

For A Missing Person

When a person is missing or has left the house without intimation  and their whereabouts are not known, the following talisman can be used to trace him or her. Write the talisman on a piece of paper with black ink. Put this talisman in a small bucket and lower into a well. If you hear a sound of laughing, the missing person is alive. If you hear weeping, the person is dead. If nothing happens, , mystery shrouds the missing person but, the man is certainly alive.

Sufi Healing

The Indian mystic musician Hazrat Inayat Khan, who brought some Sufi ideas to the West in the early part of this century, said, "A person who never accomplishes  [salat] has no hope of ever advancing any other way, for it is to be prescribed before further sacred teachings. lf he fails to advance in this, every posture has a wonderful meaning and a particular effect ...  there is no hope for his future."

Salat  is at once an external and an internal practice: a set of physical exercises  (some have compared them toyoga asanas), and the richest spiritual nourishment. By considering each of these aspects in some detail, we can learn why the Sufis have considered in many cases that they would rather die than forgo the salat. Masha' Allah!

The practice of qnlif is performed at five regular intervals throughout the day as a minimum and can be done ai other times according to the capacities of the worshiper. The times of performance are fixed according to the journey of the sun and planets across the heavens. These times are as follows:

Fajr: Begins approximately forty-five minutes before sunrise and extends up to the rising of the sun.

Zuhr:  Begins after the sun has passed the median point in the sky and has just  begun its downward arc.

Asr: Begins when the sun has crossed a bisection of the arc made by the sun, midpoint between noon and the line of the horizon; or when the body's shadow is equal to two body lengths.

Maghrib': Begins  just after the sun has set below the horizon and no light is left reflecting off the clouds (i.e., there is no more redness).

Isha: Begins when night has fully fallen, approximately one hour and twenty minutes after the time of maghrib, or sunset.

By following these prayer times, one is perfectly attuned to the motions of the planets, seasonal changes, and geographic variations. In so doing, one becomes harmonized with all of the natural cycles of the universe.

There are three aspects to the salat: thought, word, and action. Before beginning the salat, one must clean oneself of any physical dirt on the body or clothing, or on the place where one intends to pray. At this same time, one must drive out all negative or evil thoughts and cleanse the mind to concentrate fully upon the glory of Allah the Almighty. This preparation, called wudu', consists of washing the hands, rinsing the mouth (and  brushing teeth if necessary), snuffing water up the nose, wiping the face from brow to chin and from ear to ear, washing the forearms from the wrists up to the elbows, wiping over the head and the back of the neck, and, finally, washing the feet up to the ankle bone. Each of these washings is repeated three times and must be done in the sequence described. When these actions have been carefully completed, one  goes to the place of prayer and, assuming a humble attitude, with head down, hands at sides, and feet evenly spaced below the shoulders, utters the intention to offer the salat, as follows:

I intend to offer (the obligatory number of) ra'kats of salat, and face the qiblah, the Exalted Kabah, for the sake of Allah and Allah alone. I take refuge with Allah frora the rejected and evil satan, and I begin in the Name od Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
This invocation may be made in Arabic, but any language will suffice as well. However, the remainder of the salat must be recited entirely in Arabic. The one offering prayer must be facing in the direction of the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  (In the United States, this would mean facing generally eastward.)

The salat is done by assuming eight separate positions of the body (arkan), and reciting various  Qur'anic verses with each posture. These postures are illustrated in turn, and a brief description is given of the benefits ascribed to each.

MAGIC POINTS ON A HUMAN

human is a being of magic without a doubt. Throughout occult history one can come across various usages of individual parts of the human body in spells. The most famous are the witch recipes from the middle ages which state that one needs to cook a child in order to prepare witch grease which makes her fly. Luckily in Bosnian witchcraft such recipes don't exist, as you can see from this book, witches see the human body as a temple of nature and its forces which are individually focused on certain body zones in order to have a dominant influence on that location.

According to a definition the human body is nothing else but energy compacted into a mass so it is logical to conclude that during the creation itself we have been given the ability to use energy in and around us. Every energy has its origin and canal through which it travels, spreads or unifies with a different energy.

When we analyse as a layperson the love spells which are shown in this book we can easily come to a conclusion to what the magical points on a body actually are which are considered to be the source of individual forces and what type of influence they have over other people. It is interesting to mention how in folk belief the front part of the body has the power to send energy through the eyes, gaze, mouth i.e. words, arm or leg movement, while the back part, back, serves to reflect energy and protection such as grabbing the backside with your hand in order to stop the penetration of energy of a spellbound eye.

Among the Bosnian witches a dominant role in ritual and spells is played by the following body parts, we will only write a part of information for this instance.

Hair

The hair was always a prop in numerous spells, not just love ones, since through it one can influence thoughts and behaviour of a certain person. If one grabs three hairs from a loved person without them noticing it and if they are wrapped in a small red fabric and carried regularly, it will become a talisman whose power is to slowly bring to an emotional concurrence and physical attractiveness. A love formula is repeated over the hairs and one blows three times in order for them to be ready to act.

Forehead

Blood taken from the forehead is mentioned in certain love recipes as an ideal agent with which a man can win over a girl that he likes. It is sufficient to put a few drops of blood on a sugar cube which will be secretly placed in her cup of coffee. Forehead i.e. the part between the eyebrows, so called "third eye", among the Bosnian witches is considered to be an extremely powerful place from which the man connects with his star in the sky. Namely, according to belief from Bosnia every man has his own star in the sky which he gets from birth. In this highly interesting belief one can find roots of an ancient belief according to which the forefathers of humans came to earth from a star (planet) in the solar system and that the connection between us and that planet is exactly located between our eyebrows.

Eyes

Since the ancient times eyes are considered to be the windows to the soul. They are the most beautiful thing that ornaments the human body and represent the biggest gift which we received from nature. Tears that come from the eyes in moments of pain and sorrow are a valuable prop for Bosnian witches. The ancient Romans were familiar with the magical power of the tears and that's why they carefully collected them in small bottles and kept them closed in a safe location. Similarly, among the Bosnian people the custom when a girl cries after a man which she loves that she should save those tears in a bowl and as soon as an opportunity arises she should mix them with coffee which she will serve to the boy that made her cry. After he drinks the coffee, it is believed that he will fall in love with her.

Mouth

When a woman wants to cause a large passion and love with her partner she reaches for the powerful rituals of love magic in order to cause a specific psychological state which can be best described by the term infatuation. This spell is extremely rare since it requires special conditions, namely, a woman must wait for an opportunity to get close to a dead person and in his mouth she needs to put a small picture of the man she wishes to put a spell on. Naturally, she must not be seen when doing this otherwise the spell might not work. Besides, the saliva from the mouth is represented in love magic which you will read in the part of the book which deals with the construction of love spells.

Hair under the armpits

Hair under the armpits are regularly used in love spells in the form of dust, together in combination with pubic hair. Besides, three hairs under the left armpit are used by a mother in order to create an amulet against spellbound eyes.

Sperm

Sperm, hair from the pubis and vaginal secretion after intercourse are important ingredients of many love spells which are used to attract or stimulate a partner in a relationship or marriage. Hair from the pubis are thrown into the fire while uttering some of the numerous love vows or are burned into ashes and mixed in love potions. Cloth soaked in sperm and vaginal secretion in Bosnian traditional witchcraft are considered extremely valuable props which have the power to emotionally tie two persons and in such a way prevail marital or other crises.

Menstrual blood

Bosnian witches claim that women unlike men have two types of blood. The first blood is menstrual since it has a huge magical capacity even under the direct influence of the moon. It is always used in those spells which have the goal to physically and emotionally connect two people i.e. a woman and a man. Menstrual blood in spells has a pronounced effect in the first 40 days, while after that time interval that intensity is weakened. In occult circles it is considered that every woman can use her menstrual blood in spells for three men while with the fourth she will create a completely opposite effect.

The second type of blood is taken from the fingers on the hand. While menstrual blood has the goal to physically attract a man to a woman, blood from the finger or fingers creates the effect of infatuation, emotional openness, and stops men from being aggressive towards women. As Bosnian witches consider blood from the fingers, over both hands, is directly connected with the heart. This blood is under the direct effect of the sun.

If a woman in her magical practice uses both bloods towards the same man that can cause lack of composure, strong jealousy and other negative effects, if the spells are repeated a few times.

Faeces

Pieces of faeces are unavoidable ingredients of all spells which are intended to cause fights and hatred between partners. It is interesting to note that in Bosnia it is believed that the backside is the only part of the body which is immune to the effects of spellbound eyes, therefore whenever you are afraid that someone might subject you to a negative gaze, grab your backside in order to annul all potential danger.

Urine

In love spells urine is used in several instances. In one of them it is used when preparing the doe for the maslenica, Bosnian traditional meal, which is then offered to the partner or a few drops of it will be placed in the drink which will be offered to a person whose love one covets.

Nails

Dust gathered from the nails is the standard ingredient in most love powders. Nails cut from the hands or legs of dead people have a much larger representation in various forms of spells.

Navroz mubarak

When is Nowruz 2018, what is Haft-Seen and how is the Persian New Year celebrated?

Nowruz, or Navroz, is celebrated by hundreds of thousands of people across the world on March 21, but just what does this special day signify?

ON March 21, hundreds of thousands of people across the world will be welcoming in the New Year and celebrating the first day of spring in a festival called “Nowruz” or “Navroz”.

Several countries mark this day as a national holiday. Here’s the lowdown on this exciting traditional celebration.

What is Nowruz?

Nowruz, or Navroz, is the Persian New Year and the traditional festival marking the beginning of spring.

The day is believed to promote peace, solidarity, reconciliation and neighbourliness, and is designed to be filled with good food, new clothes and quality time with loved ones.

The festival is observed in Middle Eastern, and Central and South Asian communities.

The traditions associated with it date back around 3,500 years ago.

Navroz was officially registered on the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009 and is celebrated on March 21, the day of the equinox.

How do people prepare for Nowruz?

In the weeks leading up to the New Year, homes are thoroughly cleaned (much like a spring clean, in essence) and all broken items are repaired or replaced.

New clothes are worn and indulgent meals are prepared to be shared with loved ones and friends alike.

The day is spent by visiting friends and relatives, exchanging festive greetings, gifts and good wishes.

What is the Haft-Seen?

Haft-Seen is a table-top arrangement of seven symbolic items traditionally displayed to mark the New Year and the first day of spring.

The seven items all begin with the letter S - the primary items are:

Sabzeh – a wheat plant as a symbol of greenery, nature and exhilaration. Some say it symbolises wealth and love too.
Samanu – a sweet pudding made from wheat germ symbolising power and bravery
Senjed – dried Persian olives symbolising wisdom
Seer – garlic to symbolise stimulation and contentment
Seeb – an apple to symbolise health
Somāq– sumac berries to symbolise patience and tolerance
Serkeh – vinegar symbolises disinfection or cleanliness
The table will also include a coin, to represent wealth, a mirror to symbolise light, candles for children and family, and often a religious text.

The practice of Bosnian healing

Diagnostical techniques

To diagnose diseases Bosnian healers (hećimi, hodže, derviši, stravarke) make use of various techniques.

The first rather obvious technique is an extensive conversation with the client and the people connectd with him socially. One of the healers interviewed said that it is essential to have an insight into the character of a client, because it supplies him with a lot of information about the causes of the client's illness.

The second technique is the use of texts and recitations from the Qoran, the hadith or some particular instruction manuals. A Bosnian healer said thar, after having spoken with a client about his afflictions, he starts to read from the Quran. As soon as the client starts yawning, laughing or crying there is an indication that a supernatural power is at stake. This healer said: „If the client starts crying I know that it is a matter of the Evil Eye (urok). But when he is convulsed with laughter he is possessed by an evil spirit or nagrajisao, ograjisao“. Other healers make use of certain instruction manuals. A Bosnian healer said that when someone consults him about headaches he asks for the names of the client and of certain of his relatives. Subsequently, he is able to look up the causes of the headaches in his manual. Sometimes the client must put his finger on such a book. The healer can then draw certain conclusions from that.

The third diagnostical technique is the so-called „cupping“ or hidžama. This technique is practised by a Bosnian healer. It consists of inflicting light bleedings. If, for example, someone feels a pain extending from his shoulders to his head, the healer heats a drinking-glass by burning some paper. Subsequently, he makes two little scratches on the shoulder of the client with a razor-blade and puts the glass over them. In the opinion of the healer it may be possible for black blood to flow from the injuries. In that case the pain will disappear immediately.

The fourth technique is a ritual with lead or salivanje strahe. A Bosnian healer (stravar or stravarka) uses this technique frequently. He writes a text on a piece of lead and gives that to the client. At home the client (bolesnik) has to melt the lead in a pan. After that he must wrap himself into a sheet and put a bucket of water between his legs. He then must throw the lead into the water so that it will harden. After the ritual the client must wash himself with the water. He must take the lead with him when he goes back to the healer. In the coagulated lead the healer will see indications of what power has caused the affliction and what part of the body has been affected.

The fifth technique is the conjuring up of spirits or sazivanje daire. To one of the Bosnian healers (derviši) this is the most important of the diagnostical techniques, as well as a therapeutical technique. He hypnotizes his clients and by means of them he conjures up spirits (džine). It some cases these spirits are djinns and in other cases they are the spirits of living persons. In the course of a hypnotizing-session the healer takes the spirit of the client or the medium to certain locations and situations and allows him or her to communicate with other spirits.  That way he discovers all the facts regarding certain problems or the causes of a particular illness. Then he punishes the guilty djinn or the spirit of, for example, a magician (sihirbaz) who has practised black magic.
