Using jinn Maimun, the Master of Torment

He exerts influence over the ailments of bodies and torment in all creatures, even animals—beasts, birds, and mammals—and his power is limited to these types. If you wish to destroy an unjust enemy, draw the image of this helper and the talismans around it on a piece of horsehide without tanning. Place it on a gentle fire in a dark place and recite the names a thousand times. He will appear to you in the form of a monkey. Command him to exert control over whomever you desire from any species. You will see wonders from this; and this is the image of the talisman.

Ajib yā sāhiba as-salāsil wa al-aghlāl bi-ʿizzati Bujh Bujh, Barāhj Barāhj, Abriyh Abriyh, Shamākh Shamākh, Shamūkh Shamūkh, dhū al-jalāl wa al-ikrām wa rabba jahannama wa al-yawm alladhī tusabbibu fīhi al-bilād min jarā’im al-aʿmāl wa bi-š-šahābi ath-thā’ib wa bi-al-ʿadhāb al-wāsib bi-ʿizzati Bālak Zaryāl Ṣafdiyāl Ṣafdiyāl, Mišṭīš Mišṭīš, Hišṭūkh Hišṭūkh, Mišṭūkh Hišṭūkh.

Wa laqad ʿalimtu annahum al-jinnu lamahḍūrūn, wa yakūnūna al-buḥūr waqta al-ʿamal mithla wa karīrah.

How to properly make a talisman

I am aware that most people who engage in talismanic magic do not have sufficient knowledge to derive any benefit from it. The drawings and short texts accompanying almost every representation of the talisman, along with simple instructions, are a real lure for anyone who wants to make a love, business or other wish come true.

Usually, everyone is guided by the idea that if they correctly write the text of that note on a sheet of paper, at a certain astrological time, it will cause the desired effect. But that doesn't happen. Just like in life, nothing is simple in magic and everything requires effort, knowledge, and time. Before any magical work, in the room/house where the talisman will be made, it is necessary to expel the spirits that live there for a short time.

They are called amirs (ummar), and they fiercely resist the arrival of the spirits that the sorcerer summons and deliberately spoil his work. Therefore, their banishment is necessary so that they can successfully begin and complete their work of making an effective talisman. The next step is that the sorcerer must seek permission to work from the Jinn ruler of the day. He then uses certain prayers and oaths, as well as magical words, to ask the king who rules over this day to allow or grant permission for the summoning.

Namely, nothing can be done by any spirit, good or bad, not even Iblees (Satan) himself without the consent of the Jinn ruler who rules the day on which the ritual is performed. Therefore, the first task of the magician or sorcerer is to secure permission to work from the ruler of the day, that is, that he agrees with what is to be achieved. The sorcerer calls him seven times, and after that, he takes the rosary and begins the invocation.

Talismans are always made in auspicious astrological times, so the magician must have knowledge of astrology, and the position of the Moon, especially to avoid any occult work when the Moon is in the sign of Scorpio. There are dozens of ways of making talismans and it is up to the magician to discover for himself which method suits him best. According to the advice of older generations of occultists, it is necessary to keep proper records of when the talisman was made, at what solar and lunar time, for what purpose, and record its effect. Namely, this is how you come to know what time of day and night best suits a particular type of work. The secret is always hidden in the details, but also in the commitment itself.

Contact with spirits

When you start working with Jinn, or spirits in general, be prepared for the backlash. Namely, every contact with spiritual forms is staged because of the desire for them to fulfill some of your requests. They are usually then bribed with the smell of incense, which is their food or even a delicacy, and forced to obey various formulas and names. As no one likes to be a servant or subjugated, spirits also try to avoid being enslaved, so they try to scare the one who invokes them and force them to give up. Then they appear to the magician in a dream, most often in the form of an animal like a snake. It can sometimes be a real nightmare and sometimes just a mild and fleeting fear. But I can admit to you, their dimension of existence is truly magical, the colors are more intense than in our world and the beings (humans and animals) do not have the usual appearance, that is, the one we are used to.

So, for example, you can see completely green birds (the shade of that green color itself is almost impossible to describe in words) with the head of a dragon, the wings of a bird, and the legs of a rooster. Snakes can also be green with miniature wings. According to the sleeper (mage), jinn in animal form can be indolent but also aggressive. One of them tried to bite me in my sleep, but I skillfully avoided it. Namely, before any ritual, that aims to draw the attention of the spirits to you, you must protect yourself, not only with a circle, but also by calling beings of light with a clearly expressed message to guard and defend you against the attacks of hostile entities.

Angels guard the one who wears the amulet

There is probably no person who does not know what a talisman or amulet (zapis or hamajlija on Bosnian language), is. It is a short or long text filled with certain prayers, signs, and squares, the purpose of which is to protect its wearer from magical attacks. Some amulets are made to protect people and amulets to protect to home called home talismans (kućna zaštita or kućna hamajlija). In addition to them, amulets are often made to protect and guard the business premises from malicious competition and envious people.

According to the principles of spiritual science, the main amulets or hamajlije can be written on certain days and hours. Therefore, all this work can last a relatively long period, sometimes even a month or two, i fit is a large amulet. The restrictions for writing the so-called average amulet are significantly less but yet important. All talismans, as well as writings (zapisi), must bed one in a certain lunar phase: writings are done from the new Moon to the full Moon, and amulets the phase when the Moon is waning, usually the last nine days. The purpose of each amulet is to curb black or love magic, and evil eyes, prevent a person from encountering evil forces, and represent a kind of „protective fence“ for the owner. It can be owned and worm by both sexes.

Amulets made on Friday evening, that is, Thursday night and Friday morning, until sunrise, are considered very-powerful. The classic writing of their text takes place in the middle of the night, between midnight and 01:00, no later than two in the morning, because after that dawn follows and it is too late to work. Amulets are also written during the day. An alternative time to write amulets is Tuesday when the Sun approaches its ascendant.

Just as devils (Jinns) are inseparable from magic and sorcery, so angels (Meleks) are inseparable from amulets themselves. Namely, is every high-quality and effective amulet, one or more names of angels are written. As exalted and pure beings, angels do not want to guard an impure person, especially one who does not wash after defecation, or sexual intercourse, or a woman who does not keep herself tidy during her menstrual cycle.

Therefore, each amulet, i.e. its text, must be protected from contact with water, sweat, and impurity, by being covered with duct tape or imported into a bag made of animal skin. Otherwise, the first trip to the toilet with an unprotected amulet causes its desecration and takes away its prophylactic power. Some esotericisms recommend wrapping the amulet with the thread with which its owner was previously measured from the top of the head to the toes. This measure is torn off from the rest of the thread and it is carefully wrapped around the amulet folded into the shape of a small square or triangle. And the end, a knot is tied. After that, the amulet must never be opened again. Like everything else around us, the contents of the amulet fade after some time, and individual letters or symbols lose their color or disappear, so the amulet weakens or completely loses its protective power. That is why it is recommended to replace the old amulet eith a new one every nine years.

The departure of the spiritual inhabitants and darb al mandal

Chapter of the departure of the spiritual inhabitants ('ummar) for the sake of the mandal and other ceremonies. Read this (ceremony of) departure together with the Surat al Fatiha and the Basmala, and at the end say:

I adjure thee, jinni, and ye inhabitants who are in this place, that ye depart, and go away from this place, ye and your brothers and your old ones and your young ones and your wives. And let there be no mischief (fasad), neither im my magical practice, nor in my writing, nor in my reading, nor in my circles. By the king Tarash your judge! (repeat) twice. And by Tanita! 2x Mazlaq! 2x. Makar! 2x. So that ye may be present, the kings and their helpers, and ye may help me in the execution of my wish, without harm and without mischief. And by Taras! 2x. Haras! 2x. Marish barish! 2x Rush! 2x. Latmash! 2x. Batash! 2x. And by the Compassionate! ar- Rahman! al-Jalil! Lord of the great name! The earth trembles at your presence and the winds become weak at your presence, and the valleys vomit at your presence, but the mighty names of Allah encompass you, and the heavens rain fire above you, and evil. If ye delay from departing from this place, ye and your helpers, and your old ones and your young ones, and wives, I adjure you that I may accomplish my wish, and ye may return in safety afterwards! Depart in peace! Bah! By the power of His might! And to Him is power! al-Waha'! 2x.  al'-Ajal! 2x. as-Sa't! 2x.

Then read the Fatiha (opening sura) of the Book seven times.

If you wish "to open the darb al mandal" you are to write the "noble amulet", the well-known magic-square called Buduh, as follows:

: in the right hand of the subject, after the departure of the spiritual inhabitants of the place; then write Sura 50, 21 on his forehead and upon a paper to be bound upon his forehead. This is followed by magical words and challenges of the sort already mentioned and by passages from the Qur'an, including many of a general character. The jinn is summoned from the four cardinal points and from the regions of cold and heat, with their wives and families and companions of all ages. The scrying is done in a cup of oil, on the surface of which is a little ink, The scryer is to gaze continuously "until he says to you: "A phantom (hayal) has appeared in the cup." The image is saluted. The scryer is directed to command the phantom to sweep, sprinkle the ground, place a chair, bring sheep and slaughter them, and bring food. If such appear as have been thought of soldiers, then their sultan is to be called. When he has come you bid him sit, and eat, and drink water, and drink coffee and smoke. Then you are to ask your questions, and you will get a reply, whether is regard to a thief, or one imprisoned, or the bewitched, or luck, or what is distant. After your wish has been obtained, and not before, you are to read the formula of departure, taking care not to be heedless, thus:

Depart! Peace upon you! Bless you! By Bah ... I have accomplished my desire, so begone in peace! Amin!

Jinn, magic and religion

There is a traditional belief that the Jinn are summoned by a wizard which must morally degrade himself, and in a way make himself physically dirty, in order to attract the attention of spiritual beings and to stimulate them to cooperate. Namely, according to this theory, before summoning spirits the wizard washes himself with milk which has sperm added to it, then he brings the Qur’an or bread into the bathroom, throws it to the floor and stands on it with both feet. With this, allegedly, he fulfils the conditions which the Jinn seek in order to begin communication. But, is this really true? All of the above makes little sense and the wizard won’t accomplish anything with these actions, since they don’t mean anything to spiritual beings. These and similar descriptions are a part of negative propaganda thought up with a clear goal of showing magic as incarnation of evil. If Jinn were summoned in this way then the terrorists of today, financed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, would be the highest wizards, since their crimes which are similar to those of the Nazis, suit everything that allegedly the Jinn seek from humans and that is degradation of Islam as a religion, morality and all humanity.

Of course, it is clear that such and similar propaganda shaped in folk beliefs come from the priests themselves, which perceive everything which they don’t control and manipulate as a dangerous enemy which must be denigrated and destroyed. That they often overdo it to the point of it being illogical is evident in the contradictory facts that certain Islamic theologians claim by explaining magic. They mechanically cite parts of the Qur’an, especially from chapter 2, with which they warn people not to perform spells, since it is allegedly a sin, then according to their interpretation magic is directly related to Allah’s will. Namely, they claim that the effect of magic is not certain, God creates it as He creates the effect of a cure. If he doesn’t want to he doesn’t give it any effect. Simply stated, according to theologians, magic happens like everything else according to God’s will, and according to that it cannot be a sin. Therefore never read nor listen to what the theologians from any region claim since their goal is to keep people in the state of submissiveness and passivity, in order to manipulate people.

Why am I writing this? Because most of practitioners of magic are wasting time needlessly and focusing on unimportant information, which have no sense and create an inner blockade, create doubt and uncertainty, instead of focusing on practicality which is in essence the only important thing. If you want to do magic, contact Jinn and widen your knowledge and abilities, shortly to initiate yourself in the secrets of Iranian-Arabic occultism, then you need to realise in the beginning what is actually required of you.

One of the main conditions of magical work is secrecy. Actually, religion/spirituality and sex are two things which should be your intimacy and no one else’s. Do we believe in God, we are dealing with spirituality, and who we sleep with is solely our own business and it is utter stupidity to talk about it with someone else. Whoever does it is a primitive person which doesn’t have a grain of spirituality in them, such a person is fully committed to materialism and superficiality. Never allow people to have too much influence in your everyday life since you will lose your peace, comfort but also spiritual and life energy. The wise people of old times knew this, they isolated themselves in order to be protected from energy vampires and negative people in order to focus on themselves.

All those prohibitions to communicate less, avoid badmouthing others, cursing, singing and the like, though shown as moral distinctions which a wizard should have, are actually nothing else but a good way to strengthen concentration and accumulate the wizard’s energy which is usually dissipated in all of the abovementioned activities. Even the rule that you should be afraid of knowledge and God were contrived because of it.

Besides discretion and peace for a successful work you will need a shorter or longer period of preparation of the body in order to set it to a supernatural frequency. This can be achieved by aimed weakening of the physical body and will. My opinion is that the classic rule that the wizard must exclusively consume so called “soulless food” is ridiculous since such food simply doesn’t exist. Namely, consuming animal meat and animal products is forbidden, though this ban makes no sense since everything that lives and grows has the gift of life in itself i.e. a soul, since without it, it would be dead. It is another scam which the cunning author-wizards purposefully placed in magical books to prevent many from knowing occult science.

Real meaning of fasting, abstention of food, is the reduction of physical strength and weakening of the will, in order for the subconscious mind to overpower the weakened body and to open to the human mind the possibility to connect with invisible entities. Besides fasting, it can be achieved by abstaining from sleep, which quickly breaks the spirit and body and in the end gets the wizard into a conscious half-trance or full trance.

That’s why you should avoid those groceries which supplies the body with fat and proteins, i.e. strengthen him physically, ad suppress the power of subconsciousness. Actually in the phase when you would like to bring your body into the phase of being ready to perform magical rituals you need to eat dried fruits, drink clean spring water, herbal teas, you can eat food made out of corn flour, and even drink one smoothie a day. Sleep as less as you can, no more than three hours, in order to speed up this process.

During this phase you need to burn incense constantly which has a pleasant smell; the first one is that the smell (smoke) of incense is food for the Jinn (entities) and the other reason is more important, namely, incense has an antidepressant activity, familiar to us from the ancient Egyptians and Nabataea’s. In the phase while you are at a minimum of food and sleep, depression is a normal occurrence which leads you to, since the will is weak, in constant temptations to stop the preparations and give up on the process. That’s why the ancient sages came up with incense because of its antidepressant activity, whose smell gives strength and will to keep going to the wizard.

In preparation for the occult work there can’t be any stress or at least must be minimised, therefore avoid situations which can cause negative emotions such as anger, hate, etc. Similarly, spiritual beings have the ability to feel your inner thoughts and feelings, therefore focus on what you are doing with is a must along with a clear plan. If you ask them for something with doubt in your heart, they will see it as an insult.

When you manage to paralyse your will with the practice mentioned above and you subdue yourselves to your subconsciousness, then all magic that you create will be effective. But, similarly, you will be in such a state to neutralise any black magic or cure someone from evil. Today’s priests of monotheistic religions are in love with clear materialism and they don’t have the ability to cure or help people, since lust and greed rule over them, and as such they have no spiritual nor magical powers. Similarly, while you are in the phase of magical training you should avoid sex since it disrupts concentration, it also represents a form of greed, in this case physical.

Days and planets

Bosnian occult tradition insists on strict abidance o ancient rules on whose postulates spiritual forces exist even today. Modern man lost almost all contact with them since he doesn’t want to follow those rules which connected heaven and earth for millennia, connected humans and the spirit world. That’s why it is important to follow the old rules, especially those in astrological days and hours, in order to ensure the necessary conditions for productive work.

When you want to undertake a magical operation, and for it to be successful, then you must pay special attention to choose the correct time of when it can be undertaken. Reason for such a stance is the desire to divide the time well which will enable the magi to align its day with the energy of the planets. Namely, corresponding forces of each individual planet are normally dispersed across the world and therefore their activity is not completely clear nor is their importance precisely determined. In order to achieve this, you must as much as possible, connect interdependent activities, to create a sphere where one planet presides, whose activity will not be hindered by the influence of other planets. When the force is according to the space, time, quality and mater, it acts, i.e. must act, then we get success.

There are other rules of successful magical work but they have a smaller importance compared to the above and I will leave it to you to study and practice them. The most important aspect is for you to fathom the secret of the ritual itself, to fully comprehend and adopt it, which is harder than you believe, then you will perform it successfully.

Jinn cause fear and blockades

Utilization of amulets and talismans in curing traumatic conditions is perhaps one of the most fascinating segments in folk medicine in BiH. Since the old days, the amulets were brought to the level of almost universal panacea in curing all forms of mental but also certain physical ailments. Beneficial power of one or more prayers mixed into the content of the amulet or talisman, which replaced pagan bajalice (spell) and oaths, is based on the same principle of directing wishes or pleas for freeing the body from the negative influence of some entity, which found a home in the host due to a transgression of a certain taboo.

Namely, according to Islamic mythology when Allah created Adam and Eve, he had to place an invisible curtain between them and the Jinn (demons), so that the monstrous appearance of the Jinn wouldn’t frighten them and awaken shudders every day. Similarly, he made it so that people will be more or less protected from evil spirits, and he ordained them to sleep and rest during the night, so that the Jinn may have the freedom to move. That myth created a lot of taboo with which literally all contact with Jinn was avoided, because of their detrimental influence on the human body and psyche.

From the most familiar taboos among the Bosnian folk the ones tied to sunset are mentioned, when demons exit from their hideouts and gain power, which will last until sunrise i.e. dawn. That’s why people avoided to go outside in the evening, to pass by walnut trees, places where wood is being chopped, where dirty water is being thrown, etc.

If it happens that an individual accidentally or on purpose disregards some of the numerous taboos, he can become a target of the demons and risk possession i.e. entrance of the Jinn in the human body. The most obvious symptom of presence of an evil spirit inside a man is the appearance of inexplicable fear. Namely, suddenly the person starts feeling a more intensive restlessness and fright from night, closed space, certain animals, food, etc.

Talisman’s used against fear

With the development and spread of writing, the cognition that vows and curses, if written down on paper, take on their material form and exist longer, and with that last longer as well, unlike uttered formulas whose effect is immediate but disperses quickly. Although it has been recorded that our Bogomil forefathers used certain holly texts when creating amulets used for curing and protection, only with the beginning of the Ottoman occupation and advent of Islam did this practice see an expansion in BiH.

As far as we can comprehend from pretty modest literature and data, the Ottomans were under direct influence of Persian-Arabic magical beliefs, combined with certain Islamic teachings. But, what is especially interesting is that the Ottomans are as a Mongolian people known for shamanistic practices and retention of numerous animalistic beliefs. This is why Turkish magic abounds in various syncretic elements and this peculiarity is especially visible in the form of the talismans. While Arabic-Persian talismans follow a standard form of construction, according to which the amulet possesses a holly text and magical square (vefk), with Turkish talismans the form is based on what I would call “shamanistic diagrams” i.e. they abound with graphical representations of spiritual beings through one or more lines.

According to magical principles the Jinn, main culprits of all mental diseases, can succumb to the will of an individual with the help of ancient seals and invocations. Controlling those negative spiritual strengths the wizard can consciously inflict great evil on an individual or even a group of people. When he wants to block a person i.e. make him unsuccessful in certain or all segments of life, the magi ritually directs one or more Jinn towards him, they will possess him and with their destructive influence they will awaken inside of him various phobias from which he will be completely blocked: unsure of himself, scared, prone to jitters, lack confidence and hysterical.

Allegedly, with very decisive magical gestures fear can be “awoken” in any human. Individual Bosnian stravarke, such as deceased Fatima Dizdarević, explain how one can cause phobia from graves and the dead, namely, it is enough to discretely throw some dirt from a grave onto someone, without them noticing it. But, similarly if someone is scared of the above mentioned then it is recommended for them to look at their own reflection in the water which was used to bathe the deceased person.

All spiritual authorities in BiH are of the opinion that fear can be placed on someone with the help of various forms of divinations, among which the most famous techniques are those of directing an evil spirit through spells. Specifically, we’re talking about numerous phobias and the most frequent of all is the sudden fear of the dark – achluophobia – and this issue is usually solved by writing the following talisman (1) which the diseased carries with him at all times, until the uneasy feeling subsides.

With the help of magical rituals one can, allegedly, influence a person in such a way that he/she will start to feel an inexplicable fear towards a certain individual or it can happen that a man is scared of a woman or vice versa – sexophobia. In that case a Bosnian Imam creates the following talisman, which the diseased will, like in the first example, carry with him at all times.

It is evident that the craze for amulets from Imam’s did not stop in the 21st century and every so often we can read in the printed media or internet portals that some famous persons, especially from the show business, visited one of numerous Imam’s, seeking help for their issues. Besides the mentioned famous persons, regular people also visit these spiritual healers, trying to get a positive resolution to an unpleasant situation in which they find themselves in. When we’re talking about curing fear then the inscriptions for passing exams are most sought after, when one wants to neutralise jitters and blockages.

Power of the prayer from the Qur'an

There is a widespread prejudice about the Qur'an, especially among the members of other religions or people who have never read the holly book, since one can foretell destinies with the book (“opening the stars”) or even that in the content of the book there are instructions on how to create spells?! Both the first and second claim are false since the mantic skill “opening the stars” is not done with the Qur’an, instead it is done with a book called Yildiznama. Similarly, we should point out that the holly book of Islam, like the Torah and Bible, condemns any type of magic.

Practice of using prayers with the intent of creating amulets is present in all religions, and among the Christians and Jews use of the psalm for creation of inscriptions for a specific purpose.
Therefore, shortly, there are no differences between these three religions in terms of talisman and amulet creation. The only difference is perhaps that the Arabs and Iranians as excellent mathematicians perfected the science behind the talisman, primarily for the purpose of healing, using prayers from the Qur’an.

Islamic spiritual medicine or Al-Ruhanyat  is based on the science of beautiful names of the Lord (al-asma al-husna) and knowledge of the secret of Allah’s greatest name (al-ism al-akbar); esoteric interpretation of the verses from the Qur’an (ilm al-ta’wil); science of letters (ilm al huruf) and their numerological significance and meaning and science of magical squares (ilm al-awfaq) according to which the holly texts, their letters and numerological significance are entered through vefk (triangles and squares) in the content of the talisman and amulet.

Besides, Arabic language is considered to be chosen by God and that’s why words from the Qur’an, as well as citations and prayers are considered as holly. Also, this is the main reason why Muslims of all nations across the world pray to God in Arabic. Of course, it is not wrong for believers to pray in their native language since, as spiritual authorities claim, there are angels which translate the prayer into Arabic as soon as it is spoken. But, speaking the prayer in the original language of the Qur’an has precedence and is common practice among Muslims.

It is known that since the old days that prayers from the Qur’an are the source of help for various human ills and among them the one which is considered the heart of the holly book is very esteemed – Yaseen. It is claimed that it can help in finding a lost person, curing diseases, finding candidates for marriage, etc. In this prayer there is a citation which serves as a stimulus for flow of money but also property protection, which needs to be repeated a certain amount of times in order to gain god’s help and make the desire come true.

For the majority of readers this fact about Yaseen might be interesting. Namely, if it is uttered inside a house and then the entrance door of the house are closed, there is no way any magician or witch can approach that house. Each prayer from the Qur’an has one or more invisible guardians which are called Dobri in Bosnian tradition. So, for example the prayer Yaseen is under the protection of two servants called Zagašin and Fagašin, etc.

Evil spirits and diseases

Spiritual medicine is present in all religions and cultures around the world and it has its source in shamanism, ancient belief in the existence of good and bad spirits which in various ways influence the human and their own world, especially in the domain of disease and bad luck. Through numerous centuries postulates of shamanism remained unchanged, although religious views and understandings changed, which is understandable primarily because of the realisation that a human itself is a combination of spiritual and material.

Spiritual healer or “soul doctor” primarily must possess shamanistic gift i.e. ability to detect, in order to determine whether the Jinn is actually present in the diseased person, and if he is, what type of demon he is dealing with. He is using various mantic methods to accomplish this but also literal knowledge about the effect a Jinn has on the human mind and body.

Diseases ascribed in spiritual medicine to the negative effect of the Jinn are categorised; for example, earth Jinn causes complications with the stomach and bowels, if the Jinn enters the head then he causes headaches, insomnia and issues with the eyes; air Jinn possesses the heart, causing pain and great difficulties in breathing, and often a loss of consciousness; heavenly Jinn is the one most prone to affecting the nervous system, causing spasms (cramps) and contractions of the limbs, etc.

After determining the current state of the diseased and offering a diagnosis, spiritual healer prepares all things necessary for the ritual which he will perform in order to free the person from the negative effect of the Jinn. For that purpose they most frequently make talismans, though there are other ways to eliminate the spirit of the disease.

Possession of a house or flat

Jinn do not enter only into human bodies, they also inhabit someone’s living space, so that they can use their position to maximum potential. The things that give them away are a few important details and one of them is this. In all apartments and houses in which one or more Jinn live (entities) all wall pictures are shifted to one side, right or left. This is one sure fire sign of a supernatural manifestation. I was recently called by a friend to perform a detection of her apartment. Since she moved in, three years ago, her life was marked by a negative trend – there was literally no advancement in professional segment nor her love life, she fell into financial loans and her health deteriorated. She met me in front of the building she lived in, she gave me her key and hastily went, going on a trip. We managed to shortly make arrangements to meet the next day so that I may tell her what I noticed.

As soon as I entered the nicely decorated apartment I noticed that all pictures on the walls were in an irregular position. But, besides this, nothing else gave away presence of some entity. That night I lay down and slowly uttered a verse from the Qur’an for which I knew that it would cause a spirit to react if he was present. I quickly fell asleep thinking about everyday things. Around 2 in the morning in the darkness I saw a woman with a yellow face, pronounced white hair with sharp red locks, she was sitting and looking at me. It was a sign that I had to come to my senses quickly, which I did, and I turned on the light. I received my answer.

My first impression with all first encounters with invisible beings is their characteristic slowness, sluggishness. I’m of the opinion that although the spiritual and material world intertwine constantly, that the difference in the so called “time zone” is evident and that movements from the other side, in this case of the Jinn, seem slow.

Spirits are usually not interested in humans, in a friendly way, and they almost never want to communicate with them, despite the difference in languages, they can overcome this barrier and for example communicate telepathically. But, what is extremely well developed, as in animals, is the ability to feel fear in humans. That sense is very sharp. That’s why it is very important to break that connection to avoid the possibility of the heightened feeling of fear to penetrate inside of oneself, since they most often enter, literally fly inside the human body, in moments of pronounced emotions i.e. strong shock (fear) or sorrow.

Arabian world of Jinn and magic - how to successfully cast spells

Arabian magic is, alongside voodoo, the most powerful magic in the world since it rests on a direct correlation with the spirit world (Jinn), which one can reach through various magical symbols (talismans) and rituals and one establishes a connection and trade in such a way. Namely, as I often stress in all of my texts, without trade with the spirit world no spell will have effect since simply stated – it doesn’t have the strength or “motor” to act. As in our material world where things are bought with money, the spiritual world exists in the same way. You must be aware of the fact that no one owes you a service for free. Even in religion you have various sacrifices to Gods and saints, beginning with fasting, lighting candles, repeating prayers, giving vows, offering kurban (animal sacrifice, usually a lamb), and that’s why you shouldn’t be surprised that the spiritual world expects the same. This is in fact an answer to all those questions which are often directed at me by disappointed visitors of the forum, which thought that by following simple magical instructions from a book that they will successfully perform a certain spell. Magic has never functioned in such a manner and to all those which take it for granted I give them the advice to give up and dedicate their time to something else in which they could be more successful.

To at least have some insight into the world of magic and spell making I will shortly describe the way in which spells are cast. Of course, according to the old rule, all spell casting is preceded by invocation of spirits or Jinn at a certain time frame, depending on the purpose. Magi before starting the ritual of invoking one or more Jinn, with the goal of creating a spell, places bread or the Qur’an next to him, in order to forestall evil spirits so that they will not ask another favour from him, such as incest or homosexual acts; instead the spirits will be content with him performing blasphemy by sitting naked on bread or the holly book. Such, or similar, immoral demands are mostly used by the strongest Jinn called Afarit, ethereal beings or metamorphosis which are always hostile towards people and they often ask the magi to perform morally degrading and difficult to perform services.

Every magi which plans to have meeting or contacts with such or similar Jinn must be in the state of everyday physical impurity, so that in such a state he can be adjusted to the spiritual frequency of the Jinn he is invoking. Since these Jinn are extremely powerful, they are also full of arrogance and lust and they will often ask the magi to perform sexual acts with them, all with the goal of completely distancing him from all possibility but also desire to perform his religious duties. Jinn are divided into male and female, hermaphrodites, and even sexless beings, but they are capable of appearing to the magi in the form of a human which excites him the most. For example, in front of man the Jinn will appear as the most beautiful naked woman, or the female Jinn will rush to have sex with the magi with the hope that such a bestial and supernatural relationship might give birth to a mix of a half-Jinn and half-human being, which will fulfil their eternal desire of gaining a human, material body with which they can rule the world.

In return for fulfilling their kinky demands, Jinn will show extreme obedience and with great speed and strength they will help the magi in fulfilling numerous earthly desires, such as seduction and sexual usage of certain persons, creating obsessive love feelings, causing evil, causing accidents and deaths, destruction of someone’s company, family, achieving material wealth or even political power, but not in religious aspirations or desires tied to the afterlife.

A spell is made in such a manner that a magi through oaths and commands, in a ritual which he is performing, directs one or more Jinn towards a person, clearly stating what needs to happen to him. Instantly the Jinn head towards that person, which can happen in literally seconds, and enters the human body through one of its crevices, travelling through the bloodstream towards the brain, where he will stay put and begin the transformation of the man’s behaviour. That’s why all spellbound people change their behaviour and nature “overnight” – they become completely different people. But, since the Jinn is a foreign body inside the human, he doesn’t know how to behave in harmony with the host and he never completely adapts and so one can notice the presence of the Jinn through frequent headaches, sudden pains in certain body parts, a feeling of suffocation in the chest, especially during dusk, etc.

JINN INVOCATION

Contact with the spirit world is as old as man himself. In all civilizations in the past, without exception, there were mystical rituals for this purpose, which were a privilege of a small group of people, and secret knowledge and wisdom were guarded behind "seven locks". In Bosnia and Herzegovina the most famous way of invoking good or bad demons is called - daira. Little is known about this process since it has been reserved for individuals, usually individual religious teachers or individuals proficient in magic.

Daira is an Arabic word which means circle. Practicing daire would literally mean - gathering Jinn into a circle. This is partially true since the practitioner with the help of a medium and accompanying props establishes communication with the Jinn, in order to discern the reason for the disease of a human, and to free a person from the possession of a demon and to completely cure him or her. The entire ceremony resembles a spiritual summoning of ghosts, but there are a lot of essential differences. While in spiritual séances of ghost summoning, the medium and those present don't have the opportunity to see the ghosts with their eyes, in the daire ritual, no matter how fabulous it may seem, the Jinn are quite visible!

Muhamed Garčević writes about this in his book "Zapisi i hamajlije"(inscriptions and amulets) published in 1942 in Banja Luka - "As different as it is, it is as dangerous. Especially for the ones not capable of such work. Even for people skilled and capable in that magical act, things happened, and the incompetent were hurt in such a manner that they were disfigured both physically and mentally for the rest of their lives. The revenge of the Jinn for the careless and incompetent practitioners would end in one of the following ways: their mouths would move to their ears to the left or right side, their legs or arms would be numb, they would lose their vision, they would be mute or would stutter their entire lives, etc.

According to Muhamed Garčević, persons which desire to invoke the Jinn, i.e. those trying to communicate with them, first must be god fearing, they must not eat food of animal origin (meat, eggs, fat,...), and bring vegetarian cuisine to a minimum; abstain from frequent sexual acts, spend more time in prayer than sleeping, guard oneself from another's hakk (appropriation of another's property), live humbly on one's own salary, respecting all values of the religious codex!

It is not hard to discern that with this way of life one wants to strengthen the spiritual side of the human nature which largely helps when one invokes the Jinn (daire) and authoritative communication with the Jinn, which easily spot the weak, reckless and uncontrolled persons. On the other side, only moral persons strengthened by prayers are capable of making effective talismans and amulets and carry all the risks which bring with themselves contact with evil spiritual beings.

Ritual invocation of the Jinn requires large physical and mental effort and is not practiced often. To minimise the risks, the practitioner with the help of a special astrological system, determines the correct day and hour when he will start the mystical ritual. When that moment arrives, the invoker - as Garčević mentions - takes ablution (washing face and specific body parts, which every Muslim performs before the start of the prayer), acquires sedžada i.e. a clean mat on which the religious ceremony is performed, as well as a smaller dish, in which some hot ember is placed, on which he will burn incense sticks or scented roots while the ritual lasts, and takes a midsized knife with a black handle, as an open threat for the wicked and disobedient Jinn.

The séance is done in a clear and ventilated area, rarely fumigated by pleasant oriental fragrances, on whose walls there cannot be a photograph or a painting of people or animals on which their eyes are evident, and for the failure a medium is necessary. Usually it is a boy or girl aged between ten and twelve years, if possible with green eyes, since people with green eyes, it is believed, establish contact with spiritual beings easier than others. It is usually hard to reach the child, therefore the practitioners of the ritual, as Garčević mentions, usually engage the child with a trick, not explaining to him that he will be an intermediary between him and the Jinn.

When this ritual is organized to cure a mentally ill person, the patient is usually accompanied by his closest kin, cousin or friend, who has a duty to answer instead of the diseased. But, the moment the talk begins, he must pray to Allah and he mustn't show fear, disturbance and react no matter what happens in the room during the ritual. The woman during their menstrual period are not allowed to be present during the ritual, skilled and able practitioners can free the diseased from physical ills and attack from the Jinn even though he owns a personal item of the person that he is representing. One could say, therefore, telepathically, but actually it is not telepathy. We are talking about something else.

There are a dozen ways of attracting Jinn. Some are more and some less complicated, but all carry certain danger and risks and are therefore not recommended to unstable, greedy and religiously uneducated people, especially those who do not follow the values of religious codex. Before this mystical procedure is initiated it is necessary to prostrate the sedžada towards kibla (southeast). The practitioner and his medium (girl or boy) will sit on it on their knees. Their faces must be turned towards each other, and their knees must touch at all times.

After that the practitioner takes the knife with a black handle, with the blade of the knife to his left he begins to draw the circle around himself and the medium. While drawing the circle, in an undertone he utters the 255 chapter of the prayer Bakara. The duration of the drawing should coincide with the duration of the prayer. Then he thrusts the knife to the place where the circle begins and ends and holds it there while the ceremony of invocation is not completed. Close to his hand, in the circle itself, it is mandatory for a bowl with hot embers to be present, in which he will, from time to time, place incense or some other fragranced root.

Marid and Ifreet

Tales of their role in the history of Iran, Iraq and the neighboring countries are so pervasive, one simply can't dismiss the possibility of their existence. Genies are divided into five types: Marid, Afreet, Sheitan, Ghilan and Jann. The Marid are the strongest, while the Afreet possess vast intelligence. The Sheitan are the ugliest and Ghilan are shape-shifting flesh- eaters.
Jann are mostly known for their habit of stealing cows. A free jinni – one not under the control of a human master – is said to be one of the most dangerous forces in nature.
Followers of the Prophet exercise a strong belief in jinn. Such spirit beings can be benign or frighteningly evil. In many instances, jinn are presented as instruments of temptation. There is a well-known jinn in Morocco who goes by the name Aisha Qandisha. She seeks to seduce men. If a man capitulates to her charms, then he forever becomes her slave. The way to resist such a tragic consequence is to plunge a steel knife into the ground, and break her spell over him.
In Algeria, a similar jinn-spirit is known as Betjallal. The name in Arabic means “lady of splendor.” More than a few Algerian men believe they are married to this jinn and experiance sexual intercourse with her.

Evoking a Jinn Servant

There are jinns who are servants by profession. They serve the higher class jinns – and also human adepts! This simply rite below evokes a jinn to your presence that will help to fulfill your needs – even serving you food and drinks on a platter!
Method:
The same preparations apply as for the previous ritual for evoking a jinn king: This ritual should be done at night in a quiet secluded place

in the woods or forest 'neath nature's canopy with no one around. If you fail to find an appropriate place you may use your room but make sure that you are not disturbed in any way. There should not be irritating anywhere in the vicinity. The room should be in complete darkness. Do not allow any light to penetrate the room. Jinns as a rule, dislike bright places.
The evoction ceremony should be preceded by a cleansing, a holy wash, or preferably a ritual shower. Wear clean clothings for the magickal ritual – wear a robe or a protective west if you have one.
This ritual should be proceded ba 3 days of fasting from dawn to dusk. No meat or animal products are to be consumed during the 3-day fasting period.
During the fast, after every 5 of the obligatory prayers recite the following for 1500x: „Hailuusyin“.
Benzoin incense from the East should be burned during these recitations. On the third and last day, an attractive jinn familiar spirit would appear. He or she would declare their readiness to serve your needs.
