Withdraw into a three-day spiritual retreat for the sake of Allah, observing mandatory fasting throughout the period.
Recite the following names after each of the five daily prayers, according to their numerical values in the Greater Abjad system.
On the third night, recite them as much as you are able, and each night burn frankincense (kandar incense) as incense.
On the third night, a servant (a spiritual being) will come to you.
When it appears, it will be in the form of light and will not speak.
You should first say to it:
"Welcome, O you who come to us."
Then say:
"I ask you to provide me with sustenance (wealth) by which I may support myself in my religious and worldly affairs."
It will not reply to you with words, so dismiss it immediately.
When morning comes, you will find money in your pocket or beneath your head, provided that the recitation is performed in complete darkness and that you do not light a lamp at any time during the practice.
