If a girl looks through a silk handkerchief at the first young Moon after New Year’s Day, she will be able to see her future husband.

THE FIRST MONDAY

You may not have known this, but in Western Europe the first Monday in January is considered an unlucky day for paying anything with money. However, likewise, if you receive a monetary gift on this day, it is believed to be lucky money that will bring you financial progress during that year.

AN OLD BOSNIAN NEW YEAR’S BELIEF

The Bosniak people believe that it is desirable to strike oneself three times on the buttocks when midnight strikes “to drive away all evil from oneself,” and then men would grab their genitals and women their breast in the hope that the whole year would be “full,” just as the hand is full. The ritual was explained with a short statement: “May you be lucky-handed!” Here, without a doubt, it is a matter of an archaic ritual of invoking good fortune at the transition from the old year into the new one.

THE HEALING POWER OF HOLY BOOKS

 Every Qur’anic surah (prayer), up to the fifteenth ayah (verse), is intended for healing—primarily of psychological ailments, but it also helps with certain physical and organic illnesses. The Qur’an is a holy book that has accumulated within itself the greatest wisdoms of the Torah and the Bible, complementing them with subsequent revelations from Allah that came through the divine messenger Muhammad, thus completing within itself the power of the sacred number 3, which connects the underworld, the surface, and the heavens.

Prayers from all religious books are sacred and contain divine energy which, if properly directed, helps the human race. Of course, very few people are familiar with the transcendental wisdom of holy books, including the Qur’an, and therefore one must immediately distinguish ordinary religiosity and the performance of prayers from the true understanding of spiritual knowledge. Translated, this means that most hodjas are not enlightened in this regard and possess no knowledge other than basic clerical knowledge, for the practice of which they receive a regular salary. Likewise, priests who are ruled by materialism, lust, and greed have no spirituality within them and, as such, cannot help even themselves, let alone anyone else. These are all those whom we regularly see in advertisements and other media content.

Healing MUST NOT BE PRICED, but at the same time one should give thanks for every remedy; that is, the patient should appreciate the skill and effort of the healer and, from the heart and according to their ability, reward them. Everything else may be priced—setting a price at one’s own discretion—when it comes to fortune-telling, the making of talismans, amulets, love magic, etc.

When France fell under Nazi Germany in 1940, Morocco—then under a French protectorate—came under the control of the collaborationist Vichy regime.

He insisted that Moroccan Jews not be separated, not marked, and not treated differently, and he quietly resisted attempts by the Vichy regime to enforce harsher measures.

His stance was both symbolic and practical: it sent a clear message to local officials that persecution would not be tolerated.

Because of his resistance, and because the Nazis never fully controlled Morocco, not a single Moroccan Jew was deported or killed during the Holocaust.

At a time when entire communities across Europe were being destroyed, Morocco became a rare refuge where Jewish life continued under the protection of a Muslim monarch. Today, Mohammed V is deeply respected in Jewish communities around the world for his firm stance at the most critical moment.

In the end, the correct question should be asked: Whom have the Jews ever saved? The answer: No one. All they know is how to kill others, rob them, and commit genocide against civilians. This people have no sense for kindness, humanity, and reason.

Terrible blasphemies against Jesus Christ

Although it is a standard practice of Talmud apologists to deny that it contains any vile references to Jesus Christ, certain Orthodox Jewish organizations are more open and admit that the Talmud not only mentions Jesus but also disparages him (as a sorcerer and a demented sexual pervert). These Orthodox Jewish organizations may admit this out of the belief that Jewish supremacy is so well established in the modern world that they do not have to worry about negative reactions.

For example, on the website of the Orthodox Jewish Hasidic group Lubavitch—one of the largest in the world—we find the following statement, along with Talmudic citations:

“The Talmud (Babylonian edition) records other sins of ‘Jesus of Nazareth’:

1) He and his disciples practiced sorcery and black magic, led Jews astray into idolatry, and were sponsored by foreign, non-Jewish forces to undermine Jewish worship (Sanhedrin 43a).

2) He was sexually immoral.

In the end, one must rightfully ask the following: if such cruel and criminal statements and claims came from some Muslim book, what would happen? The answer: the entire West and the Christian world would rise up against Islam and Muslims, we are all definitely sure of that. However, when they come from the Jews, their centuries-old calls to kill anyone who is not Jewish are attempted to be covered up and to pretend that the Talmud does not exist, and that the Jews are actually great friends of Christians. Or perhaps even the Christians themselves agree that the Talmud spoke the truth about them? That's why they don't show any reaction.

Vedrana Rudan: I Feel Sorry for the Jews

Some facts have been crystal clear, not just since yesterday. Israel is a fascist state. Gaza is a huge concentration camp where Palestinians are dying just like Jews once did in Auschwitz. The West, whatever it is today, led by America—whose arms industry we don’t know whether it serves Netanyahu and his company or Netanyahu and his company serve it—will carry out a huge “deal.”

We “civilized” Europeans, actually miserable servants of America, look away from Gaza just as disgusted, “civilized” white people do when they see a toothless Gypsy man, Gypsy woman, or their scruffy children. Far away, some human trash has no electricity, no water, no food, no freedom—who cares about them. We are all superhumans led by America, not to mention Israel. And so it has been for seventy-five years.

Today, or tomorrow, or the day after, the agony of the Palestinians, toxic inhuman waste, will be “unraveled.” The problem will finally be solved by Israel, which, as media favorable to the fascist entity write, has snapped. Enough is enough. Israeli fascists—not just Netanyahu—think the time has come to, after all, destroy Gaza.

I feel sorry for the Jews because they truly do not know what they are doing if they do this. After the crime they intend to commit, they will become and remain cursed. I am not speaking without reason. The crime above all crimes, which will be even greater and more terrible than the Holocaust, no matter what the Jews say about it, will turn their lives into hell. Even today, what will happen when they carry out the final solution on the Palestinians, their fate is becoming clear. Currently, Jews in Germany do not dare to send their children to kindergarten because they are not sure their children would survive leaving the house. The Louvre, Versailles are closing...

This is happening today in Germany. This is happening today in France. It will also happen in China, Australia, Madagascar, Madrid, Geneva, India... In every part of the globe, Jews will soon be targets. No, no, no, it will not only be "Muslim terrorists" who will be shooters. I repeat, when billions around the world go to war against you and the flesh of your flesh wherever it may be, maybe it will occur to you that in that devastated Gaza lived people like you who suffered the way you will suffer for a long, long, long, long, long time...

Bosnian Skill of Fortune-Telling: BACANJE GRAHA or OTVARANJE FALOVA

 

Divination, gatanje, ogledanje or falanje with 41 beans is a traditional technique of fortune-telling among Muslim peoples, especially in Bosnia, Turkey, Central Asia – where it has various names such as fasulya fal, nakhoud fal or kumalak – as well as in the Arab world. Today, it is most vividly preserved among Bosniaks.

Since ancient times in Bosnia and Herzegovina, falanje u grah has been the most popular method of predicting luck or destiny. It has always been practised equally by both men and women: if it is a woman, she is called a faletarka, gledalica (from the verb ogledati, “to look into/reflect”) or faladžinica, while if it is a man, people call him faletar, gledač or faladžija.

Why beans?

Why beans in particular? Besides the fact that they have always been easily available to ordinary people, beans are considered in esoteric traditions to be receivers of energy and “counters of destiny”. This is supported by many Bosniak love spells and accompanying rituals in which, with the help of beans that are thrown into the fire at the end of the rite, one attempts to change a person’s fate or “open” their luck.

Why exactly 41 beans?

The number 41 in Islamic tradition symbolizes protection, supplication (dova) and the fulfillment of wishes. In Turkish folklore, stories often mention a hero and 40 enemies whom he fought and defeated. A perfect literary example is Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. In this specific mythical way, the number 40 is presented as the number of destiny, everything that destiny contains, while the forty-first bean marks the transition from the spiritual into the material.

In Sufi practices there are prayers (dove) that are recited 41 times. Among Bosniaks, there exists a belief that Allah, within the first 40 days after a person is conceived in the mother’s womb, prescribes (determines) that person’s destiny, and that on the next, that is the forty-first day, it begins to flow and manifest in reality – and so it continues until death.

Even after birth, the number 41 does not cease to be important. According to Bosniak folk belief, during the first 41 days after childbirth, one pastekija (a prayer mat) is pulled out from under the young mother each day. That is why, in this critical period – which is considered dangerous both for her and for the newborn – she must be cautious and protect herself and the baby from anything that might harm them and thus disturb their destined nafaka (divinely allotted sustenance).

FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Although beans are “thrown” or “spread” for all kinds of life questions, they are most often used for love falanje or ogledanje. Therefore, here I will give an example of one love layout of falovi and its interpretation.

In the example shown in the picture below, such a combination of falovi and hatmas in tehir indicates that the relationship between two people (boy and girl, husband and wife), in modern terms, is “quite open” – meaning that both are cheating on each other. However, this does not create a serious problem for them, because they still remain together.

In traditional ogledanje, a faletarka would often interpret the falovi clearly and directly, usually with words like: “Your grah has ‘fallen’ on seven hatmas, that is good, you are nafakali (you have luck/fortune). In tehir it is on four hatmas, ‘on a safe hand’. Your grah is running late, this will not happen quickly, but I see you on the pillow, you are together, and this anger and present sadness are temporary. You are not faithful to each other, each pulls in their own direction, but your ‘kuća’ (home) is strong, nothing is falling apart, you remain side by side…”

THE FATEFUL FÁTIMA’S FAL

According to Bosnian oral tradition, this skill of falanje was first practised in history by Hazrat Fátima, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad, secretly from her father. She managed to hide it for a long time, until one day, when the Prophet suddenly entered the house just as she was ogledala (reading) the fate of a friend. Taken by surprise, in haste she managed to hide only half of the beans under the folds of her dress, while the other half remained visible. Since the Prophet loved his daughter immensely, he only smiled at her “hobby” and said gently: “My dear daughter, let what you do always be half truth and half lie.” And from then on, according to Bosniak belief, in every falanje there is half truth and half lies.

Every time someone wants to ogledati se u grah (have their fate seen in beans), they should take all the beans into their hand, recite sura Al-Fatiha and dedicate it to the soul of Hazrat Fátima, then blow onto the beans and give them to the faladžinica to read that person’s destiny in them.
