A war against Iran in its own backyard in 2026 would almost certainly produce catastrophic consequences for both the United States and Israel — and it carries a clear potential to trigger a regional war, spiral out of control, and ultimately draw in Russia, China, and North Korea.
In any case, it must be understood that by firmly rejecting U.S./Israeli demands, Iran is effectively dictating the terms — strongly confirming what many of us have argued since last summer: Iran was the clear winner of the 12-day war. Israel knows it, the U.S. knows it, and Iran knows it.
It is now undeniable that Washington is seeking an exit from this march into madness.
However, given that Iran is now setting the conditions for that exit and will not agree to a repeat of the orchestrated “Operation Midnight Hammer” and its fabricated bunker-buster narrative involving B-2 bombers, combined with the massive concentration of U.S. military power in the region and the enormous investment in threatening rhetoric that Trump has already poured into this poorly conceived adventure, war may now be unavoidable.
Israel has pushed the United States into its black hole.
Last year, of course, the 12-day war against Iran brought Israel to its knees, and the Houthis showed the U.S. that its aircraft carriers would be prime targets for hypersonic missiles in the event of a war with Iran.
What many people today fail to understand is that power projection is no longer about aircraft carriers, along with their aviation and missile systems, but about hypersonic missiles that can turn those carriers into rubber ducks ready to be sunk. At the Munich Conference, Mark Rubio openly acknowledged that de-dollarization is underway and that Western sanctions are therefore no longer effective. Through its policies of recent years, the West has fallen into its own trap of decline. Everything it projected onto its enemies is now happening within its own house.
BE HUMAN, BE COMPASSIONATE, AND BE JUST. LET US ALL STAND TOGETHER TO ENSURE THAT ISRAEL IS CONDEMNED FOR THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA. THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO PUNISH THE PERPETRATORS OF THE MOST TERRIBLE EVENT OF THIS CENTURY.
